Steps to register for NHLSA CST Workshops and Certification Exam:

  1. Download the NHLSA Workshop Registration form print it out, and fill it in.
  2. Download the National CST Application form print it out, and fill it in.
  3. Approach your employer, and inquire about any "tuition reimbursement" policies that may be in place.  The NHLSA Foundation has pledged to make grants available to technicians, and pay up to 50% of the National fees, if the examinees' Employer pays the first 50%.
  4. Download the Pricing Worksheet, print it out and fill it in.:    You should also download the pricing sheet instructions.
  5. A "Complete" Application will consist of the following:
    - NHLSA Workshop Registration form
    - National Application form
    - Pricing worksheet
    - (1) Check: made out to NHLSA - see pricing worksheet for the actual check amount. (Note - if your employer opts to provide the first 50% of the National fee, and asks you to provide the workshop fee, you may submit two checks, both made out to NHLSA.)       
  6. If you would like to order any optional textbooks that are available from the NSPS and ACSM, include those on the NHLSA Registration form.
  7. Mail the complete application and all registration forms to:
